The Club was formed on October 11, 1946 as the Guilford Sportsmen's Association Incorporated. The Club owns 300± acres of land that is surrounded by Cockaponsett State Forest and Regional Water Authority property in both Guilford and Madison. Guilford Sportsmen's Association is a private club operating as a 501(c)7 not-for-profit organization under IRS regulations.
As a private organization, membership is limited. When openings exist, we will accept applications for membership. All applications must be presented to the membership chairman, and will be presented to the Board of Directors for review and then to the general membership for approval. Make an appointment with our membership committee to arrange a tour!
GSA offers a world class sporting clays field course set throughout the back woods of our Guilford property. Our course features 10 challenging shooting stations. Registered NSCA shooters can register for various shoots held throughout the year through ScorePro. Bring lots of shot shells and get ready to be challenged!
As the temperatures begin to drop that can only mean one thing at GSA... it means that the SnowBird Skeet League is about to begin. The Junior Membership committee provides training programs in archery, shooting, fishing, conservation, and ecology. Junior membership is available to children between 12 and 18 years of age. Junior Membership is a great way for young adults to develop an appreciation for the outdoors and build leadership skills!
